Staying in a homely wee Holiday Let in Dunbar, 20 mins from Edinburgh with John and the kids. Quiet garden, watching the gannets fly by. Only 350 quid + fresh flowers + welcome basket of local produce + bottle of wine! Interesting books, DVD titles (plus wifi for John!) Lots of countryside walks, cycling, beach combing. John and the kids went to surf school .. brrr! Tomorrow walking in the Scottish Borders and evening in Edinburgh, only 20 minutes on the train.
